Our Wedding

So this story isn't your typical 'we met at a bar' or 'high school sweetheart' story... although, I think ours is just as special! It was September 2023, I was single and pretty ready to mingle. I tried all the apps my friends kept telling me about and even some of them finding their spouses with them so I said why not. Ultimately, I did not enjoy them... until Facebook kept telling me to set up a dating profile. I figured what's the harm, so I did. And I kid you not, within 2 swipes, there he was. Blake, 25, Lexington, SC – Matched! His first message was "Please be my wife! 😍"I smiled. But if any of you actually know me, you know I was immediately skeptical about his location, not because of the distance, but because...*drum roll*... I needed to know if he was a Carolina (Gamecocks) fan. We all know that would've never worked out. Sorry, not sorry. First question I asked, "Are you a Carolina fan?"His response... "I'm a Clemson fan!"Sold. In all seriousness, that weekend, Blake drove up to Greenville and took me on a date and we hit it off (and I mean I did, because I talked the entire time... and he listened). Within a few short weeks of distance dating, endless FaceTimes, and long weekends, we went to a Clemson game together, where he met the ultimate test BESIDES my father... Tiger Fam. The rest is history and I can't wait for our future. Take a look at our life together so far!

the one always down for a get together. another oldest friend who has been there for every phase of life, and still likes the bride. she is everyone's biggest cheerleader and knows how to make you feel special. the bride is blessed to have her by her side on her wedding day and in life.

the one who's been there since the dorm days. together, they navigated college and all the crazy long days and nights that came with it. who better to stand by her side than someone who the bride spent every day with (except for 2020 :/) for 4 solid years.

He is a godly man, a best friend, and a true role model as a husband and father. Someone I look up to in more ways than one, and a guy I can always count on. He’s pretty decent at golf, and while his weld quality might need a little work ;), overall, he's the best man for the job.

Thanks to my sister, I got a brother from another mother. Another role model in my life as a husband and father, and the guy who’s always there when you need him without hesitation. The day wouldn’t be the same without him.

One of the best drinkin’ buddies you could ask for. Loves NASCAR, deep sea fishing, and tires (iykyk). One of my oldest friends, and someone you can always count on for anything—whether it’s a good time or a bad idea.

Another one of my go-to drinkin’ buddies. We met in personal finance and still aren’t millionaires, which doesn’t make much sense. we spent all of our free time in the mud or out on the water fishing. Glad we get to be each other’s groomsmen.

Right in the heart of downtown Greenville, this is the most iconic spot in the city. Walk across Liberty Bridge, see the waterfall, grab coffee nearby, and enjoy the fall leaves. It’s the perfect Saturday morning stroll.

We love hopping around downtown for drinks. Paloma – The BEST espresso martinis in town ☕️ (IMO)UP on the Roof – Where we had our first date 💛 Grab a cocktail and enjoy the rooftop views. Downtown is walkable and full of great spots, so you really can’t go wrong.

Fresh seafood, great atmosphere, and one of our go-to dinner spots. Highly recommend going to put your name on the list (they don't take reservations) and walking to Paloma or a nearby bar for a drink. By the time you finish one, your table will be ready! Other favorite restaurants are Scoundrel (Michelin star!), Soby's, and Comal 864 (iykyk).

If you want fresh air and fall colors, head toward Travelers Rest. Bike or walk part of the Swamp Rabbit TrailHike at Paris Mountain State Park Grab lunch or a drink in downtown Travelers RestIt’s peaceful, scenic, and very “Upstate fall.”

The Silos is such a fun local spot with great outdoor space. Perfect for casual drinks, live music (if they have it that weekend), and soaking up fall weather. For a good beer to celebrate Clemson Football, try Tigers Blood. Thank us later.

Located near Clemson, the South Carolina Botanical Garden is beautiful in the fall. It’s quiet, scenic, and a great option if you want something low-key and outdoorsy.
