So this story isn't your typical 'we met at a bar' or 'high school sweetheart' story... although, I think ours is just as special!

It was September 2023, I was single and pretty ready to mingle. I tried all the apps my friends kept telling me about and even some of them finding their spouses with them so I said why not. Ultimately, I did not enjoy them... until Facebook kept telling me to set up a dating profile. I figured what's the harm, so I did. And I kid you not, within 2 swipes, there he was.

His first message was "Please be my wife! 😍"

I smiled.

But if any of you actually know me, you know I was immediately skeptical about his location, not because of the distance, but because...*drum roll*... I needed to know if he was a Carolina (Gamecocks) fan. We all know that would've never worked out. Sorry, not sorry.

First question I asked, "Are you a Carolina fan?"

His response... "I'm a Clemson fan!"

In all seriousness, that weekend, Blake drove up to Greenville and took me on a date and we hit it off (and I mean I did, because I talked the entire time... and he listened). Within a few short weeks of distance dating, endless FaceTimes, and long weekends, we went to a Clemson game together, where he met the ultimate test BESIDES my father... Tiger Fam. The rest is history and I can't wait for our future.
